CLARK COUNTY, NEVADA / INDEPENDENT PILOTPUBLIC PREVIEW · v0.3.0

CIVICDUTY / COMMUNITY INTELLIGENCE

Make your voice legible to the people who decide.

Bring a local idea in everyday language. CivicDuty helps shape it into a case people can understand, challenge, and carry to the right public office.

01Start with what you see.
Leave with a clearer next step.

HOW THE ARENA IS MEANT TO WORK

From a hunch
to a case.

The long-term CivicDuty design pairs AI-assisted drafting with deterministic checks, local evidence, and a human decision gate at every consequential step.

01WORKING NOW

Listen

Start with the problem as you experience it. No policy vocabulary required.

02AI LAYER / PLANNED

Shape

An assisted drafting layer can turn your words into a legislative-style brief and return it to you for edits.

03TEST THE CASE

Challenge

Stress cost, evidence, implementation, access, legal authority, and who bears the risk.

04HUMAN GATE

Return

You inspect the draft, correct it, record dissent, and choose whether it is ready to share.

05OFFICIAL ROUTE

Route

Find the responsible jurisdiction and follow its public process. The pilot does not submit for you.

What this preview does not do: It does not call an AI service, collect a wallet ID, anchor a record, score a person, or contact a government office. Those are future, separately governed capabilities—not hidden assumptions.

THE FIRST MOVE IS HUMAN

What should change
where you live?

You do not need the legal language. Give the issue a name and let the workbench help you make the next questions visible.

THE PROPOSAL WORKBENCH / WORKING NOW

Make the idea reviewable.

Your draft stays in this tab. Download a copy to keep it; closing or reloading clears unsaved work.

1 Place & purpose

Las Vegas, Henderson, North Las Vegas, Boulder City, and Mesquite have their own governments. Verify the responsible entity with the official jurisdiction lookup ↗.

2 Costs & stress tests

Enter incremental costs and monetized benefits relative to the current alternative, in constant dollars. Use the same price year throughout. These estimates are illustrative until locally verified.

The 3% starting rate and scenario settings are editable examples, not County policy. The combined downside keeps costs running while benefits are delayed.

3 Evidence & public value
4 Human review

Checking these boxes records your assessment. It does not establish accuracy, public support, or approval.

THE PUBLIC DOCKET / CURATED PREVIEW

Know what is
on the table.

Choose the jurisdiction you mean, read reviewed community proposals in plain language, and follow the official source for current agendas.

OPEN BOUNDARIES / HUMAN JUDGMENT

A tool for
better questions.

Today’s pilot is a static planning workbench. It uses transparent arithmetic, local official links, curated proposal reviews, and exports that you control. It is designed to make a proposal more inspectable—not to make a decision in your name.

WORKING NOW

Local draft starter, three cost scenarios, evidence and dissent prompts, official route guidance, and legislation explorer preview.

PLANNED

Governed AI drafting, source-grounded stress tests, live civic records, accessibility review, and an accountable review queue.

HUMAN GATE

No wallet anchoring, score threshold, municipal submission, or publication should happen without authorized human review.

Privacy, accessibility, and pilot limits

No analytics, accounts, geolocation, AI calls, or server submission are enabled. Drafts are held in memory and exported only when you choose. Hosting providers may still record ordinary page requests. Use general locations and avoid personal information.

Keyboard and small-screen flows are included. Assisted participation, Spanish content reviewed by a fluent local reviewer, and an independent accessibility review remain launch tasks. This site does not claim WCAG certification or County endorsement.
